OnePlace Solutions are looking for a Production Planner for our client that is a leading manufacturer of metal conduits in the UK. The Production Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. You will work within a small planning team of 3, collaborating closely with the wider operations, procurement, and production teams.

The ideal candidate would have up to 2 years experience in a similar Production Planning position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creation of production plans for Flexo & Extrusion Machines.
  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Establish and share best practices for operations planning, inventory management, and resource management.
  • Attend daily production meetings for areas of responsibility.
  • Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritise, plan, and schedule the production.
  • Monitor adherence to schedule for areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor raw material and outsourced component stocks managing.
  • Develop time-phased production plans based on demand forecasts and order intake.
Essential
  • Minimum 2 years planning experience in manufacturing.
  • IT skills for data entry, analysis & reporting.
  • Excellent Excel knowledge.
  • Experience of ERP systems.
Desirable
  • Previous experience of machine shop planning.
  • SAP4 experience.

Pay: £34,000 Salary (£16.76 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Thursday working 7:15am until 4:30pm, Friday working 8am until 12pm, working 39 hours per week.

This role is a temp to perm role and the company are looking for a long-term employee.
