We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Shetland Operations team, where no two projects are the same and every lift, load-in, and operation truly counts. This is a hands-on role at the centre of complex, high-value engineering projects that are shaping the future of the energy sector.
You’ll play a key role in delivering large-scale load-in operations, coordinating project engineering and contract delivery across some of the most technically demanding scopes on site. From tender strategy and bid development through to execution, delivery, and close-out, you’ll take full ownership of the project lifecycle.
Working closely with clients, specialist subcontractors, and operational teams, you’ll ensure performance, safety, and quality are delivered to the highest standards. We’re keen to hear from engineers with a Structural, Mechanical, or Civil background who thrive in fast-paced, operational environments. Experience in SPMT operations, heavy transport, or load-in activities would be advantageous but is not essential, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
You’ll bring strong project management capability, sound commercial awareness, and a clear focus on cost control. Just as importantly, you’ll work closely with the HSEQ team, leading by example to ensure work is delivered safely while consistently providing an outstanding customer experience.
If you’re looking for a role where you can take real ownership and tackle technically challenging work in Shetland, this is your opportunity.
