The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We currently have a vacancy for a Base Operative to support operations at our Heysham facility.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and discharging trailers and containers.
- Lifting operations.
- Checking materials.
- Maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Experience operating a forklift up to 12 tonnes.
- OPITO approved Banksman/Slinger certificate is highly desirable (training will be provided if not certified).
- Experience with SAP and stock checking is desirable.
The successful candidate will have a focus on delivering good customer service, a commitment to health and safety, and excellent communication skills. The role is safety-critical. The successful candidate will also be required to support the duty call-out rota (1 week out of 3).
