Job responsibilities:

• Delivering safe, effective, and compliant care to patients across the practice.
• Making autonomous clinical decisions in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Managing planned and urgent primary care presentations, including minor illness.
• Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
• Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement, alongside the Lead Nurse.
• Providing clinical leadership within the practice and supporting high standards of care.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Are a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with current NMC / HCPC / GPhC registration.
• Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and are a certified Independent Prescriber.

Experience:

• Primary care experience, including minor illness management.
• Experience managing whole episodes of care while working collaboratively within a wider multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong clinical reasoning and sound decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Able to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure situations.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to inspire and lead others.
