Overview OneMedical Group are looking for a Triage Clinician with a keen interest in urgent care development, to join our team at Co-Located Services covering Shakespeare Walk-in-Centre and LGI in Leeds . This is a new role due to the growth of the service and an enhanced model of care.Responsibilities Assess adult and paediatric patients, providing advice, signposting and repatriation where appropriate, determining their need for immediate medical attention. Patients once assessed will be prioritised ensuring effective and timely review based on their clinical need.Work as part of the MDT at the centre, supporting the team, ensuring effective communication and safe management of the patients at all times throughout the shift.Participate in training given in house and attend any necessary courses that are required.Hours We offer both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time roles on a rota basis, covering 5 days over 7. Shifts are 12 hours long.Qualifications and Experience Registration with the NMC / HCPCPrevious triage training and face to face triage experienceExperience of working in Urgent careAn in depth understanding of NEWS2/ PEWSExperience of working with System OneGood knowledge of urgent care clinical conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood time management skillsEvidence of recent training and development or coursesEvidence of continued professional developmentAdditional Information Note: Right to work in the UK: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
