Make a meaningful impact as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working as part of a primary care at scale group delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care to the local community. Great Western Medical Practice are looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi‑disciplinary team, to help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.
The post holder will be able to demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision‑making and deliver expert care, including assessment, diagnostic skills, treatment and evaluation. They will communicate at all levels across boundaries and work closely with wider clinical team members.
If You
- Are a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with current NMC / HCPC registration
- Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 qualification, including a recognised Advanced Physical Assessment module
- Are a certified Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Have primary care experience, including minor illness management
- Are confident in managing whole episodes of care while working collaboratively within a wider multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and sound decision‑making
- Have excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly, approachable manner
- Are able to perform effectively in complex and high‑pressure situations
- Are flexible, proactive, and able to inspire and lead others
- UK‑based, with the right to work in the UK and a valid visa already in place.

What You’ll Work On
- Delivering safe, effective, and compliant care to patients across the practice
- Making autonomous clinical decisions in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Managing planned and urgent primary care presentations, including minor illness
- Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement, alongside the Lead Nurse
- Providing clinical leadership within the practice and supporting high standards of care

About Great Western Medical Practice
Located in the Seafield area in the West of Aberdeen, Great Western Medical Practice delivers healthcare for 10,000 patients from the ground floor of a modern health centre. The practice is made up of various healthcare professionals to meet extensive patient needs and offers a variety of telephone, face‑to‑face and video appointments between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. There is parking available and the Practice is close to amenities, including pharmacies, shops and local bus routes.
