Are you looking to build a career in finance? We’re seeking a methodical, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and collaborative finance team at our Support Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and based at Bank Top Farm, Leeds, LS21 1PY.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Requesting and reconciling supplier statements against our ledger
  • Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets to track expenditure
  • Posting supplier invoices and credit notes to the purchase ledger
  • Raising invoices for internal recharges and external reimbursements
  • Assisting with audit preparation and other ad hoc finance tasks
  • Ensuring financial records are accurate, timely, and well maintained

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player with a proactive and organised approach
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or working in a finance environment is desirable
  • Full Driving License and daily access to a car is essential

Our head office is based at Bank Top Support Centre, just outside Leeds (LS21 1PY). Surrounded by open fields and scenic walking routes, we’re minutes from Golden Acre Park—a great spot to take a breather. Please note there is no public transport nearby, so own transport is required. We offer a dog-friendly workspace and a relaxed, welcoming environment where people (and the occasional four-legged friend) are all part of the team.
