OneMarketData LLC (OneTick) is a US-based company with staff located around the world. We offer several software-as-a-service solutions in AWS, including Trade Surveillance and Transaction Cost Analysis. We partner with major banks, market centres, brokers, and information providers worldwide. We are looking for a full-time Project Manager whose main responsibilities include communicating with customers and organising teamwork.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Project Planning & Execution
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables for medium-complexity projects. Develop detailed plans, tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets aligned with organisational objectives.
- Execution: Lead project teams to execute plans, ensuring milestones are achieved and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Budget & Financial Oversight
- Budget Management: Work within budgets set by Lead PMs, monitor work to ensure alignment with contract constraints, support regular budget reporting.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Stakeholder Communication: Primary contact for project stakeholders, managing relationships with internal teams and external clients. Provide updates, communicate risks, and address issues.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate across departments to align product, technology, and compliance teams.
- Risk & Quality Management
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks, assess impact, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards, conduct quality checks and reviews.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Reporting: Generate and present reports on progress, budget, and milestones.
- Team Leadership
- Foster a collaborative environment and mentor junior PMs.
- Professional Development: Engage with senior PMs for mentorship and continual learning.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional duties assigned by the line manager.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 3+ years of experience in international IT projects, including end-to-end product implementation and custom development.
- Experience in back-end implementation, with front-end tasks up to 10%.
- Experience in project planning and budgeting.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Good understanding of SDLC.
- Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ready to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- FinTech background a plus.
OUR PROJECTS TYPE
- AWS-hosted or deployed in customer DC or cloud – product implementation with out-of-the-box functions configuration. Duration: 2 to 6 months. Main challenge: familiarise client with all out-of-the-box functions to reduce implementation time, and scope expansion control.
- AWS-hosted or deployed in customer DC or cloud – product implementation with out-of-the-box functions configuration plus custom development. Duration: 4 to 18 months, most likely T-&-M contract. Main challenge: careful planning, precise scope management, time and cost reporting mechanism.
Hybrid workspace – ok to work both from home and the office. Annual salary review. Health insurance. Reimbursement program for training, online courses, etc. The position will require a background check, signed NDA, signed contract, and signed GDPR processor passthrough agreement.
