ONELAB College is looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to help build and protect the environments that make education possible for young people aged 16–25 with SEND. This role involves day-to-day operational leadership, overseeing Health & Safety, facilities management, compliance, ICT coordination, enterprise operations, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational planning and continuous improvement
- Contractor, supplier and external partner management
- Business continuity and operational resilience
- Health & Safety & Compliance
- Fire safety and evacuation procedures
- Risk assessments and statutory compliance
- GDPR operational compliance
- Compliance records, audits and inspections
- Facilities & Estates management including building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, waste management, and facilities services
- Creative Studios & Enterprise Operations management
- Asset Management of creative equipment, furniture, and physical assets
The ideal candidate will have experience in operations, facilities, estates, compliance or business management within education, the public sector, commercial environments or creative industries. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with staff, contractors, and external partners.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tower Hamlets, East London, with an initial 12-month fixed-term contract and opportunities for professional development and career progression.
