Report to - Ecommerce Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and content calendar, ensuring timely rollout of product launches, kit drops, and daily posts.
  • Act as a content creator during shoot days, supporting the production of creative, high-quality visual content.
  • Edit and deliver engaging content using tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Meta Business Suite, including posting, engaging with the community, and performance tracking.
  • Support the creation of assets for paid social campaigns, ensuring alignment with ecommerce and brand objectives.
  • Assist in the coordination of influencer content and third-party collaborations to maintain a cohesive brand image.
  • Stay informed of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
  • Collaborate closely with ecommerce and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and visual storytelling across platforms.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and represent the ONeills brand positively across all touchpoints.

Person Specification

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate that they can meet the following essential requirements. An ability to meet the desirable requirements will also be advantageous.

Essential Criteria:

  • A creative thinker with a passion for social media, photography, and video content.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing tools including Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content best practices.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You will hold a minimum of 5 GCSE A-C, including Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Fully IT literate to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar social media or content creation role.
  • Interest in sport, fashion, or ecommerce.
  • Experience in campaign planning or influencer management.

Based: Strabane

Hours: 39-hour in office arrangement. (However, we also require flexibility to accommodate key content days.)
