Carpenter

Carpenter - Birmingham O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to work on repairs and maintenance projects throughout Birmingham. For 1-2 weeks working 40 hours per week. Working hours are from 8:00am to 05:00pm - Monday to Friday. There is no parking on site. Street parking available. All applicants MUST have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card ONLY and own tools.

Duties:

• To carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager
• Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
• Responsibly handle all tools owned by the company
• Wear appropriate clothing and PPE relevant to the assigned task
• Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day

To be successful the candidate must have:

• Previous site-based work experience
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
• Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
• Experience with machine shop
  tooling
• Valid clean driving licence
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans
