Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded residential developer seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Bristol., Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development.
Responsibilities
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring defects are minimised.
- Assisting with health and safety management across the site.
- Conducting site inspections and maintaining site records.
- Coordinating trades and ensuring productivity targets are achieved.
- Supporting the delivery of homes through to completion and customer handover.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within the residential housing sector.
- Experience working on volume housing developments is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a site management team.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and site processes.
Remuneration and Opportunities
- The successful candidate will initially join on a freelance basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position offering a salary of up to £50,000 plus package, depending on experience and performance.
