We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a growing main contractor delivering medium to large-scale construction projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, retail, refurbishment and new build. This is a hands-on role for a strong leader with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site management of live construction projects
- Managing subcontractors, site labour and project sequencing
- Driving health & safety standards and ensuring full compliance
- Quality control, inspections, snagging and close-out processes
- Coordinating temporary works, utilities, permits and logistics
- Monitoring progress against programme and producing short-term lookaheads
- Liaising with clients, consultants and commercial teams throughout delivery
Experience Required
- Proven Site Manager experience on £1m+ construction projects
- Background in commercial, healthcare, education, retail, refurbishment or new build schemes
- Strong subcontractor management and programme delivery skills
- Experience working in live / occupied environments advantageous
- Good understanding of temporary works, permits and site logistics
- Strong communication and leadership ability

- CSCS Card
- First Aid (preferred)
