Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract management with involvement in tender preparation and bid submissions through mobilisation to delivery and client handover.

  • Attend and contribute to site meetings, client meetings, and internal progress reviews.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Proactively manage variations, costs and risks to protect margin and deliver planned outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial and site teams to resolve issues and drive project success.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status, forecasts and commercial performance.

Projects are varied in scope, typically ranging in value between £250k and £4m, involving upgrades, construction and related infrastructure works.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts or Project Management role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial controls.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to produce clear method statements and programme documentation.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing workload and project priorities.
  • CSCS / relevant site safety qualifications and full UK driving licence preferred.
