O'Neill & Brennan are partnering with a well-established contractor who are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis to join their London Data Centre team.

Purpose of the Role

To oversee site operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client expectations are met by delivering a high-quality end product while maintaining professional relationships with design teams and client representatives.
  • Uphold the highest standards in health and safety, quality and client service ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and snag-free.
  • Accurately report progress and site activities in a timely manner to senior management.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure all work meets required standards with minimal rework.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute project works in accordance with contract documents and construction programmes.
  • Foster strong working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.
  • Schedule and resource work effectively in line with the overall project programme.
  • Collaborate closely with the project Quantity Surveyor to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry and project execution processes.
  • Proven experience in internal fit-out and data centre projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or similar).
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated, with sound judgement and composure under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance.
