- Assistant Site Manager for a new hotel project in
Sheffield.
The project is fast paced and we require a candidate with the competencies and relevant experience to fulfil the role. This role will run until January 2027.
Role
- Manage the logistics team comprising of telehandler ops, hoist operators, general ops, gateman/traffic marshals.
- Ensure compliance with the fire, traffic and Health and Safety Management Plans.
- Chair Weekly Logistics Meetings with Site Managers and Supply Chain to ensure plans are communicated and coordinated.
- Ensure site diary is kept detailing events of the day, operations, operatives plant and machinery, any issues, weather etc.
- Ensure good housekeeping on and around site is maintained.
- Ensure sufficient supply of waste receptacles are in place for use by the supply chain.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Assistant Site Manager for a main construction contractor.
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
- Excellent organizational capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills.
