Design Manager | Main Contractor | Berkshire | Public sector projects A new opportunity has just opened up for a Design Manager to work on a contract basis for a minimum period of 6 months, however your contract is likely to be ongoing due to the volume of new projects secured as part of public sector frameworks. The company is a well-established, highly regarded Tier 1 main contractor that are experiencing significant growth in their defence division in the Southern Home Counties of Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire. Your role as Design Manager will be to work office based for 2-3 days per week initially and split your time with site visits and working remotely. The project you will be involved with initially is a new build and part refurbishment at an MOD facility in Berkshire and will run for 12 months. The value of the project is £12m. For this Design Manager position you will have worked for main contractors and will have worked on a variety of projects in the public sector such as education, healthcare, government, prisons & MOJ, MOD. A UK Architectural or construction qualification is required, and this role will suit Design Managers with upwards of 5yrs post graduate experience.
