We are urgently seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong Quality Assurance (QA) background to support a live commercial superstore development near Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a site-based role focused on quality control, verification of works, and ensuring all installations meet required standards on a fast-paced long-term project running through to the end of 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out QA inspections and quality checks across all trades
- Verify setting out, levels, and installed works on site
- Maintain QA documentation, records, and site quality files
- Snagging and management of defect close-out processes
- Support Site Manager with quality assurance and compliance tracking
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure works are delivered right first time
- Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or QA Engineer on commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards and tolerances
- Confident carrying out inspections and reporting issues clearly
- Ability to work independently on a busy live site
