A well-established Residential Property Management business is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a substantial lettings portfolio and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned property professional with experience managing AST portfolios, a strong understanding of UK tenancy legislation, and the confidence to manage tenants, arrears, and compliance independently.
Role Overview- Location: Hendon
- Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
- Start: ASAP but can wait for notice period
- Type: Permanent
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Managing a residential portfolio of approximately (Apply online only) units
- Overseeing all aspects of Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) management
- Issuing statutory notices including Section 21, 13, 8, and 42
- Managing rental arrears and collections
- Handling tenancy renewals, referencing, and agreements
- Coordinating inventories, check-ins, and check-outs
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance works
- Monitoring void properties and implementing strategies to reduce vacancy periods
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation
- Conducting property inspections at least twice annually
- Working closely with Property Management Assistants to maintain administrative standards
- Maintaining accurate property records and diaries using Qube
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in residential property management
- Strong knowledge of UK tenancy legislation and procedures
- Experience using property management systems (Qube preferred)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
