This leading residential developer has an immediate requirement for a Technical Manager to work on a freelance contract basis for a period of 9-12 months initially.
Your contract as Technical Manager will be to cover maternity leave initially; however, it is likely the role will be extended, or you may be retained for other upcoming projects. Having been highly successful in securing new developments and planning, this developer is extremely busy and there will be other opportunities at Technical Manager and Technical Coordinator level.
This Technical Manager position will be based in their regional office in Surrey, near to Reigate. The new project is in the preconstruction phase and will start on site in 8 weeks. You will then split your time between the office, site, and working remotely.
For this Technical Manager role, you will have worked for other leading residential developers building houses and low-rise flats from brownfield sites outside of London. You may come from an architectural background but must have worked consistently for residential builders for a period of at least 10 years and be fully knowledgeable of regulations and different types of house builds.
