O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Technician (Electrical).
Job Purpose:
- Provide general Electrical / HVCA/ Building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
- Implement all electrical maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with Maintenance Instructions and site-specific procedures.
- Perform testing and inspecting of Electrical Installations in accordance with industry standards.
- Provide accurate feedback and information, including completed test sheets, routine inspection sheets, and work dockets with durations and observations.
- Ensure all plant and systems are maintained and operated for maximum efficiency, availability, and reliability.
- Carry out remedial and refurbishment works arising from breakdowns or inspections.
- Respond to reactive maintenance/breakdown calls, carrying out remedial work and providing feedback to customers and helpdesk.
- Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorized by the Authorised Person Controller.
- Develop knowledge of site system failures, causes, and effects.
- Carry out condition-based monitoring surveys.
- Perform minor new works installations and testing.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of plant and adjacent areas.
- Undertake defect surveys on electrical plant and systems, providing reports as requested.
- Assist the Shift Supervisor with technical and incident reports.
- Develop knowledge of the site generation plant to provide monitoring during emergencies or tests.
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for shift colleagues.
- Perform other duties as agreed with management.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Operations: Support the Building Manager in implementing policies, procedures, and standards to maintain operational integrity and provide high-quality service.
Payment: Paid weekly every Friday.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold the 17th edition electrical C&G certificate or be willing to complete it; qualified to C&G 2360.
- Having or working towards C&G 2391 inspection and testing qualification is an advantage.
