The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 Β£ per year.

This regional contractor has secured two new projects in Kent and has an immediate need for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their surveying team and be responsible for both projects.

This position would best suit applicants with main contracting, housing building experience. You could be a Project Quantity Surveyor who is on the cusp of a quick promotion to Senior Quantity Surveyor or looking to gain additional experience to make the step up.

You will be office based in the office near Bromley, Kent and you will have weekly site visits to your respective projects, which are also in Kent. The first project you will be responsible for is near to Chatham and consists of 75 new houses for a housing association client. The second is 25 new homes for a private build to rent client in Sevenoaks. It is expected you will work 3 days a week over both sites and 2 in the office.

As Project Quantity Surveyor you:

  • Have experience of working with the client
  • Capable of challenging designs
  • Value Engineering
  • Managing sub-contractors
  • All commercial activities on projects

For this role you will come from a main contracting background and will have worked on similar or larger schemes for regional contractors. Applicants must have a UK Quantity Surveying qualification and live within a reasonable commute.
