This established and well-respected main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Senior Design Manager to work on a 6–9-month contract for a new project in Bedfordshire.

This Senior Design Manager role will be split between the contractor's office in Hertfordshire and the project in Bedfordshire. The project is a major Residential new build consisting of multi-storey RC frame blocks in a town centre. The value of the project is in the region of £80m and commences within the next 8 weeks on site. For the initial period you will be based in the office working pre-construction.

As a leading contractor, their requirement is for an experienced Senior Design Manager who can bring a depth of experience of building large projects as well as Tier 1 contracting experience. You will be well organised and used to working with large project teams and offer knowledge to the team and add immediate support.

You will as a Senior Design Manager have a UK Building qualification or come from an architectural background but if your background is architecture then you will have worked consistently for main contractors as a Design Manager.
