A well-established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage electrical packages across 2x projects at a time ranging between £1m-£5m. This is a full-time position with huge potential for further growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, client relationships, and management of the supervisory teams on site, working to the client's specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and deliver a seamless service across all projects
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with site teams
- Manage and support forepeople, electricians and other people under you on site
- Have a strong commercial awareness throughout project delivery
- Review and continually improve project delivery, quality, and safety performance
- Toolbox talks
- Liaise with commercial and preconstruction teams on won tenders
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager role
- Strong background managing electrical packages within large construction sites
- Commercially astute with strong programme management skills
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing project teams
- Strong IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage, track, and report against project programmes
- Flexible approach to travel and site visits
Qualifications
- Relevant electrical or construction qualification (preferred)
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
