A leading main contractor is seeking an Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a £30m commercial development in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, gain greater responsibility, and work on a complex project in a prime London location.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial or mixed‑use schemes and a solid understanding of procurement, package management, and cost control. You\’ll be working closely with a Senior QS and commercial lead, with the opportunity to progress into a project‑running role.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
• Handle valuations, variations, and progress payments
• Support project reporting and cost forecasting
• Attend site and progress meetings with the wider team
• Contribute to the successful commercial delivery of the project

Requirements

• Experience within the commercial fit‑out, refurb or new build preferred
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and the full project life‑cycle
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Keen to progress into a lead or project‑running role
