A leading residential developer / main contractor is seeking an Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a large-scale residential development in the Northern Home Counties. The project comprises a mix of traditional housing, apartment blocks, and associated residential facilities, offering long-term security and excellent career progression. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to step up, take on greater responsibility, and gain exposure to a complex, multi-phase residential scheme. You will work closely with a Senior QS and Commercial Manager, with a clear pathway toward running your own project.

Responsibilities
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Valuations, variations, and cost control
- Assisting with project reporting and cost forecasting
- Attending site, progress, and commercial meetings
- Supporting the successful commercial delivery of the residential scheme
Requirements
- Experience within residential construction (traditional housing, apartments, or mixed-use schemes)
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and the full project lifecycle
- Confident communicator with a proactive and organised approach
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a lead or project-running role
