Role Overview

  • Project: £100m RC Frame Residential Development
  • Location: London
  • Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 DOE + Package (Freelance also available)
  • Start: ASAP but can wait for the right person
  • Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement of subcontract packages across the project
  • Commercially manage approximately 50% of the subcontract packages on site
  • Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts with subcontractors
  • Produce cost reports, forecasts and monthly commercial reporting
  • Manage variations, change control and commercial risk across allocated packages
  • Work closely with site, design and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within either a main contractor or residential developer environment
  • Previous experience delivering large-scale residential developments
  • Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and package management
  • Experience preparing and agreeing final accounts
  • Knowledge of JCT forms of contract and commercial reporting processes
  • Able and willing to commute to London and site locations as required
