The Opportunity
We are currently working with a major MEP contractor who are looking to appoint experienced Mechanical Project Managers to join their growing London operation.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large, well-established MEP business delivering major projects across London and the wider UK.
Both permanent and freelance opportunities are available, offering flexibility depending on your preferred working arrangement.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing mechanical packages from inception through to completion
- Leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Managing project programmes, budgets and commercial performance
- Liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders
- Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality and programme
- Managing health & safety and compliance across the project
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and design information
- Attending progress meetings and providing regular project updatesManaging procurement, labour and resources
About You
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Project Managers with a strong background within the MEP/construction sector.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience managing mechanical projects/packages
- Experience working for an MEP contractor
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services
- Excellent client and subcontractor management skills
- Strong commercial and organisational ability
- Relevant industry qualifications
