This regional contractor has secured two new projects in Kent and has an immediate need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their surveying team and be responsible for both projects.

Applicants should have main contracting, housing building experience. The role is suitable for a Project Quantity Surveyor on the cusp of promotion to Senior Quantity Surveyor or those already proven in the role. The position is office based near Bromley, Kent, with weekly site visits to the projects, also in Kent. You will work 3 days a week across both sites and 2 in the office.

Projects

  • Project 1: Near Chatham – 75 new houses for a housing association client.
  • Project 2: Sevenoaks – 25 new homes for a private build-to-rent client.

Responsibilities

  • Have experience of working with the client
  • Capable of challenging designs

  • Handle all commercial activities on projects

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a UK Quantity Surveying qualification and come from a main contracting background, having worked on similar or larger schemes for regional contractors.
  • Candidates should live within a reasonable commute from the office and projects.
