A Mechanical contractor experiencing significant growth and working in new sectors, that primarily delivers commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across the South West and Wales is looking to appoint a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to be based in Bristol to lead the commercial team.

Working closely with the project teams, the successful candidate will support the commercial management of live projects, with a strong focus on contract administration, variations, and subcontract management.
The Role
- Commercial management of mechanical packages across a portfolio of live projects
- Strong involvement in contract administration under forms such as NEC or JCT
- Management and valuation of variations and change control
- Subcontract procurement and administration
- Preparation of valuations, cost reports, and commercial reporting
- Working closely with project teams to support strong commercial delivery
Requirements
- Around 5+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E building services
- Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial processes
- Experience managing subcontractor packages and variations
- Ability to manage workload across several live projects
- Experience working on complex developments would be beneficial
Package:
- £75,000 – £90,000 salary (flexible for the right candidate)
