O’Neill and Brennan are currently working with a company who engage Quantity Surveyors on a consultancy basis to work with their clients who are Housing Associations and large-scale developers. They are now seeking to engage a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of multiple residential‑led and mixed‑use schemes that they are engaged on. The business is led by individuals with strong backgrounds within Tier 1 contracting and major residential development and has secured a strong pipeline of work through to 2029.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor looking to join a modern and growing consultancy environment offering genuine progression, flexibility and exposure to a broad range of projects.

Role Overview
  • Projects: Residential & Mixed-Use Developments
  • Location: Milton Keynes / Hybrid Working
  • Rate/Salary: £375 - £425 outside IR35 or up to £90,000 + package if employment is your preference
  • Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of multiple residential and mixed‑use developments
  • Commercial management and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Procurement and subcontract package management
  • Managing variations, valuations and change control processes
  • Producing cost reports, forecasts and commercial reporting
  • Liaising directly with developers, Housing Associations and project stakeholders
  • Supporting both consultancy and live project delivery functions
Requirements
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or residential sectors
  • Developer or contractor-side backgrounds preferred
  • Strong commercial and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams
  • Residential or mixed‑use project experience advantageous
  • Degree qualified or working towards professional qualification preferred
