O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to start work on an NHS clinic in Central/East Birmingham. Working hours 7.30am till 4.30pm. You will be required to go through an Enhanced DBS for this role as you will be working around patients. Interviews to be held face to face in Birmingham. Full training will be provided by your manager who you will be working alongside.
Day to day duties will be as follows:
- Keep wards, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces clean and well presented.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in line with NHS infection control standards.
- Ensure toilets and staff and patient facilities are hygienic and regularly maintained.
- Dispose of general and clinical waste safely, following Trust procedures.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and hand sanitiser as needed.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely, reporting any issues or shortages.
- Follow colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
- Complete basic cleaning records and checklists.
- Assist with deep cleans and enhanced cleaning when required.
- Work with clinical and facilities teams to maintain a safe environment.
