We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Surveyor to join a growing commercial team working on major construction projects across the Birmingham area.

The Role

  • Take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, including:
    • Subcontract procurement and account management
    • Preparing and assessing tenders and quotations
    • Valuations, variations and final accounts
    • Cost reporting, forecasting and cashflow
    • Commercial risk and opportunity management
    • Contract administration and compliance
    • Supporting project delivery and commercial strategy
    • Building strong relationships with project teams and supply chain partners

About You

  • Proven experience with a main contractor
  • Strong commercial surveying experience within construction
  • Experience managing subcontract packages
  • Solid knowledge of valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience with BIM and measurement software
  • Degree-level qualification and/or working towards MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent
