Carpenter – Birmingham - Permanent - Annual salary plus van and fuel card
O’Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Carpenter/Joiner to work on refurbishment projects around the West Midlands - work will primarily be based in one location, however there will be call outs (in daytime hours) to other sites as part of a facilities management role.
Working hours are from 7.30am to 17:00pm - Monday to Friday. Potential for Saturday work, however not essential.
Core work will be carpentry and joinery, however basic knowledge of other trades would be beneficial.
All applicants MUST have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card ONLY and own tools.
Duties:
- To carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager
- Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
- Responsibly handle all tools owned by the company
- Wear appropriate clothing and PPE relevant to the assigned task
- Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day
To be successful the candidate must have:
- Previous site-based work experience
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
- Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
- Valid clean driving licence
