About the Company
A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a £50m commercial refurbishment scheme in Central London. This is a high-profile project offering long-term opportunity and genuine pathways for progression.
About the Role
You will take a key commercial role on the project, either leading the scheme or working as the No.2, depending on experience. Strong procurement skills and full lifecycle project involvement are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Procurement and tendering
- Package management
- Managing variations and change
- Carrying out valuations
- Managing subcontractor payments
- Attending site and progress meetings
- Supporting cost control and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with JCT D&B processes (experience preferred, not essential)
Qualifications
- Previous experience on commercial projects (refurbishment experience beneficial but not essential)
Required / Preferred Skills
- Strong procurement and cost-management capability
- Experience with two-stage/PSCA processes advantageous
- Able to manage packages independently or lead project commercial delivery
- UK main contractor experience preferred
- Refurbishment experience beneficial but not essential
