The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a construction project from initial mobilisation through to final completion. You will be responsible for leading site operations, managing project teams, and ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and commercial objectives. The role involves close liaison with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful project outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.
- Manage project programmes, ensuring key dates, milestones, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Coordinate all aspects of project delivery, including design management, procurement activities, construction methodology, logistics planning, and building services integration.
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate reporting using planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project.
- Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to minimise programme or cost impacts.
- Oversee the management of design information, technical submissions, approvals, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with current legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM Regulations 2015.
- Lead regular project meetings, driving actions through to completion and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Champion a strong health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to site teams, encouraging high performance and professional development.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners, and subcontractors.
- Drive quality standards across the project, ensuring inspection processes and quality assurance procedures are consistently adhered to.
