Location: Bristol (with scope to grow into Cardiff)

Are you an experienced recruiter already billing well in construction, ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a White Collar Consultant to join our Bristol team, with real scope to build and shape a desk of your own. This is a genuine opportunity for someone with strong BD instincts. You won't be walking into a plug-and-play desk, but you will have a strong foundation to work from: existing relationships, a number of live PSLs, and a network that spans pretty much every corner of the region. What you make of it from there is down to you.

About O'Neill & Brennan

O'Neill & Brennan is a family‑run construction recruitment brand, offering blue and white collar recruitment alongside logistics and site services, with 14 offices across the UK and Ireland. Our people are treated with respect, given genuine autonomy, and benefit from an open-door culture - you'll always have direct access to leadership and the support to do things your way.

About the Role

You’ll be an expert in white collar construction recruitment, comfortable building new relationships as well as developing existing ones. You’ll work closely with our Regional Director, Adam Badman, through direct mentorship and collaboration, while having the autonomy to shape the desk your way, including the opportunity to expand into the Cardiff region. This role suits someone who wants to build something rather than simply maintain it - someone who sees the value in a strong existing network and knows how to grow it further through their own BD.

What's On Offer

  • Monthly commission structure
  • Autonomy to grow and expand into the Cardiff region
  • Direct mentorship and collaboration
  • Supportive, ambitious Bristol team behind you
  • Existing PSLs to work from
  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 client relationships already in place
  • National coverage - the opportunity to work with clients across the country
  • Laptop and mobile phone, enabling flexible working

Who We're Looking For

  • An experienced white collar consultant with a strong track record in construction recruitment
  • Someone already billing well, looking for their next step
  • A confident business developer, able to build new client relationships as well as leverage existing ones
  • A self-starter who wants ownership, autonomy, and room to grow
  • Someone excited by the opportunity to expand into new territory (Cardiff)

Why Join Us?

You’ll have real relationships and PSLs to work with from day one, tier 1 and tier 2 clients already on the books, and a network with national coverage, but this is a desk to build, not one to inherit. Backed by a family‑run business with 14 offices across the UK and Ireland, you’ll be treated with respect, given autonomy, and supported by an open-door culture where leadership is always accessible. With hands‑on mentorship, flexible working tools, and real financial upside (including private healthcare and life insurance), this is your chance to take ownership and build something that’s genuinely yours.
