Oill and Brennan have an immediate requirement for a Quantity Surveyor with High-End Residential experience. Our client is a prime residential contractor who delivers bespoke, high-quality finishes for private clients. They are looking for a site-based Quantity Surveyor with ambitions of progressing to Senior within the next two years; however, they could also consider taking on board a Senior if this location or type of work would be attractive to the right individual.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a project autonomously. This will include estimating costs, material quantities, and project timelines. You will be involved in pre-construction and the procurement of subcontractor packages. You will also be required to liaise with a range of other teams working on the project to ensure everything is on track. Additionally, you will advise clients and contractors on compliance issues and commercial risks associated with their projects and procure the necessary building permits to ensure the construction works comply with building regulations.
The successful QS will have:
- Experience of working on one-off high-end residential jobs or experience with heritage projects
- A steady work history with long stints in each job
- A strong work ethic and an ambition to be part of a growing commercial team that operates at a high standard
