O'Neill & Brennan are proud to be partnering with a highly respected and rapidly growing fit out contractor who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to work on high-profile commercial fit out projects across Central London, supporting the delivery of fast-paced, high-quality schemes.

The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and ensuring a safe working environment across multiple live projects. You will work closely with project teams to implement the company's safety procedures, carry out site audits, and drive a proactive health & safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors
  • Prepare and update RAMS, method statements, and other safety documentation
  • Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, producing clear and accurate reports
  • Support continuous improvement of safety processes and initiatives
  • Ensure all works comply with the company's health & safety policies and industry best practices

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent essential
  • Experience working on construction or fit out projects in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Proactive, organised and capable of influencing safe behaviours on busy sites
