About the Role
We are working with a growing, well-established main contractor seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to join their team in the Somerset & Devon region. You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of construction schemes up to £10m in value. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day site operations and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Deliver projects from mobilisation through to practical completion and handover
- Manage programme, cost, quality, and health & safety compliance
- Chair project meetings and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure CDM and regulatory requirements are fully met
About You:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager delivering projects up to £10m
- Strong background in main contracting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- SMSTS or equivalent health & safety qualification (essential)
- CSCS card
- First Aid
