We are seeking two skilled and reliable Window Fitters to work for a well-established company, working on a residential refit on flats. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in double glazing.
Duties
- Working as part of a fitting team to install uPVC windows and doors.
- Install new windows and replace existing units in residential flats.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to carry out installations efficiently and safely.
- Assist with the removal of old windows and debris clearance from site.
- Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols throughout all tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in window fitting of 4 years minimum.
- Must hold either FENSA or CERTAS qualifications, ideally both.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness for lifting heavy materials and working at heights if required.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively on-site.
