We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a high-quality residential development in Liskeard from Monday 18th May to Friday 22nd May. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee a well-established housing project delivering modern, energy-efficient homes within a professionally managed site environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, monitoring progress, and ensuring works are delivered to programme and quality expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site standards
- Experience working on volume housing developments preferred
Duties Include:
- Daily site supervision and coordination
- Health & Safety compliance
- Site inspections and quality control
- Liaising with trades and senior management
- Maintaining programme targets and site records
