We're currently recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established main contractor for an experienced SHE Advisor to support a strong pipeline of work across the Bristol region. With construction activity in the area continuing to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and forward-thinking team delivering high-quality projects.
The Role:
You will be responsible for driving Safety, Health & Environmental standards across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance, best practice, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and performance reviews
- Ensure RAMS, COSHH registers, and SHE documentation are in place and compliant
- Promote a positive SHE culture across site teams and the supply chain
- Deliver toolbox talks, training, and site-based guidance
- Work closely with site management to resolve non-conformances
- Liaise with external bodies including the HSE
- Support pre-construction and tender stages where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a SHE Advisor role within construction
- NEBOSH Construction (essential)
- Strong understanding of construction processes and high-risk activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
