A leading specialist subcontractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor / Manager to support delivery of a major package of works on a flagship construction development South of Bristol. The package, forecast at over £100 million in value, includes extensive reinforced concrete and structural works within a wider large-scale main contracting scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive H&S professional who thrives within major project environments and can help drive a strong safety-first culture across site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
- Ensure compliance with current HSE legislation and company procedures
- Review RAMS and support operational planning activities
- Carry out incident investigations and reporting where required
- Deliver toolbox talks and promote behavioural safety initiatives
- Liaise closely with site management, subcontractors, and client teams
- Support continuous improvement across all health & safety functions
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within major construction, civils, or infrastructure projects
