We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded residential developer who is seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager looking to further develop their career with a business that has a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments throughout the region. The successful candidate will initially join on a freelance basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position offering a salary of up to 50,000 plus package, depending on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development.
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring defects are minimised.
- Assisting with health and safety management across the site.
- Conducting site inspections and maintaining site records.
- Coordinating trades and ensuring productivity targets are achieved.
- Supporting the delivery of homes through to completion and customer handover.
