Senior Quantity Surveyor – East London This busy main contractor is successful in remedial work and re-cladding projects, and they have been successful in winning a major project in East London of which they have an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The project is about to start on site within the next 8 weeks and it consists of a major render and façade project. It is part of a major regeneration in East London and will be a 24-month contract. The project is to remove and upgrade the fireproofing for the buildings. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor for this new vacancy, you will come from a main contracting background and ideally experience of similar projects, however, not essential. You will as a Senior Quantity Surveyor be fully responsible for all aspects of the contract and will oversee an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who will be working with you on site. For this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will ideally have worked on or managed cladding or fireproofing before. Although, a solid main contracting experience in the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor for at least 5yrs. A UK Quantity Surveying qualification is required for this role.
