This leading Tier 1, national contractor has an immediate requirement for a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to work on a 6–9-month freelance contract initially to support their current live projects.
For this Senior Design Manager role, you will have the opportunity to join a busy contractor. With numerous projects due to start and on site, this thriving Tier 1 business has opportunities to work within DfE framework, hospitals, met police and residential projects.
This freelance contract will be on a live project of circa £40m-£50m in value, so Design Managers with experience of following a project through design to site and completion are preferred. Tier 1 contractor experience is not essential; however, you will have worked as a Design Manager involved on a project of similar value or larger.
A UK construction qualification is required for this role and at least 10 years working as a Design Manager for main contractors on projects as above mentioned. Another benefit will be to have worked on PCSA projects and have both live projects and preconstruction on your CV.
