About the Role:
O'Neill and Brennan are currently seeking a reliable and hard working Bricklayer's Labourer to join our clientβs team on a busy construction site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous site experience who is looking to secure regular work with a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting bricklayers with daily tasks including mortar mixing and material preparation
- Loading and unloading materials such as bricks, blocks, and cement
- Moving materials across site using wheelbarrows or manual handling equipment
- Setting up work areas and assisting with scaffolding set-up if required
- Keeping the worksite clean and tidy, ensuring safe working conditions
- Cutting bricks or blocks to size using appropriate tools (under supervision)
- Following site health & safety procedures and reporting any issues to the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bricklayer's labourer
- A valid CSCS card is essential
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour in all weather conditions
- Hardworking, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Own PPE (hard hat, boots, high-vis vest)
