A well-established residential developer with a strong pipeline of schemes across East/South East London is seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of large-scale residential developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a developer experiencing exciting growth in a tough market and gain exposure to all aspects of the development lifecycle within a supportive commercial team.

Role Overview

  • Project: Residential New Build Development
  • Location: East London
  • Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package
  • Start: ASAP but can wait for notice periods
  • Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the commercial delivery of residential new build schemes
  • Managing subcontract procurement, variations and valuations
  • Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts
  • Working closely with operational and technical teams throughout delivery
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and package performance

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Project QS within residential construction
  • Developer or main contractor background considered
  • Strong understanding of procurement and commercial processes
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing sizeable subcontract packages
