O'Neill and Brennan are currently working with a well-established residential developer with a strong pipeline of schemes across East/South East London. Due to continued growth and several new projects commencing in the area, they are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of large-scale residential developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developer experiencing exciting growth in a tough market and gain exposure to all aspects of the development lifecycle within a supportive commercial team.
Role Overview
- Project: Residential New Build Development
- Location: East London
- Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package
- Start: ASAP but can wait for notice periods
- Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Supporting the commercial delivery of residential new build schemes
- Managing subcontract procurement, variations and valuations
- Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts
- Working closely with operational and technical teams throughout delivery
- Managing subcontractor accounts and package performance
Requirements
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Project QS within residential construction
- Developer or main contractor background considered
- Strong understanding of procurement and commercial processes
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing sizeable subcontract packages
